Enlightenment

A thousand shades of green
In a single tree.

Some leaves are translucent in their mirth and
Crystallize light, into
Sparkling diamonds on its emerald screen.

Others hide from the sun
Their needs and deeds , until
Reflected darkness breeds a colour unclean .

The Bhagavad Gita says they're
All the same;
A thousand shades of green
In a single tree.
